Ms. Chhoeurng Rachana has been invited by the Cambodian Center for Human Rights (a popular local Non-Governmental Organisation working on human rights in Cambodia) to speak on radio about “The Life of a Transman” in Cambodia to encourage greater participation, advocacy and support for Cambodia’s LGBTI movement.
One of MRI’s beneficiaries also participated and shared their experience in enjoying more family acceptance after being successful in setting up a small printing and photocopying business.
Ms. Chhoeurng Rachana said “Economic Empowerment and LGBTI rights should work in parallel to achieve acceptance of LGBTI people in Cambodia”.
